Description

A multi-mode, integrated motor drive camera that introduces the Automatic Bracketing Control (A.B.C.) feature, usable in Program AE, Shutter Priority AE, and Aperture Priority AE modes. It offers Program AE with High and Low settings, Aperture and Shutter Priority AE, Manual metering, and TTL flash metering. The camera supports center-weighted averaging and spot metering, with an LED meter display, AE exposure compensation, AE lock, auto bracketing, a dedicated hot shoe, and a PC sync terminal.

The quartz-controlled electronic shutter has a speed range from 16 seconds to 1/4000 second in all modes, plus B (manual only), with X sync at 1/125. Additional features include a self-timer, ISO range of 6-6400 for manual settings, and an Auto DX range of 25-5000. The camera also provides auto film advance at 3 fps, auto rewind, interchangeable focusing screens (FU series), a removable back, body grip, depth of field preview, and an electronic shutter release compatible with L series Cable Switch for remote firing. A top data panel and Data Back D-7 are also available.
